Experiencing winter in Alaska is something you won't ever forget. But people often have preconceived about what winter is like in Alaska...But the reality is really something a little different...Sure, it gets cold here, but what mostly sets Alaska apart from the rest of the world is the length of winter. If we use the first snow as a benchmark, winter arrived in September, and stays around until April. The Alaska Experience isn't complete until you've visited in winter.
